About
PUNCH Established January 26, 2007 to Present
Inner city neighborhoods are often beset by poor quality housing, higher crime rates, and more transient residents relative to other areas of the community. To address these problems and others, the pastors of seven area churches in an inner city neighborhood of Davenport have established People Uniting Neighbors and Churches (PUNCH). The volunteers affiliated with PUNCH are dedicated to improving the quality of life of residents dwelling in the area extending from Harrison Street to Farnum Street and south from Locust Street to 12th Street.
Mission
The mission of PUNCH is to engage in work and service projects for the neighborhood of Brady Hill partnering with churches, neighbors and city leaders to effect an improvement in the PUNCH neighborhood.
Vision
Our vision is to make the Brady-Hill area a better place to live addressing the non-political quality of life issues that affect us all.
